Projects like 'Workers' etc. are basically reportage work. You don't really need a huge negative to capture human drama. Sometimes I think the lack of detail of the 135 format, can work to your advantage. Capturing the essence of a moment, is the most important factor in that type of work. And sometimes it is easier to see that more clearly if, it is slightly abstracted. His current nature project is a lot more like landscape photography. Being able to see every little detail and texture, can add to the impact of that type of photo.
