Understood, this is the rationale I use to spend the bucks to get the best 
lens normally.

Why then do you post less that your best?  Why not spend a few minutes even 
using the auto features of photoshop to fix your pictures?  If the scans are 
at fault, then it is easy enough to make them pop.

You come close so many times, but fail in the presentation.  Your eye is not 
bad, sometimes really good, but you seem to need to adjust your notions of 
what is ok to post.  

It used to be you posted too much, hundreds of photos.  Now, you post the 
mistakes and ask us how to fix them; and it seems to always be the same 
mistakes.  Can we move along?
