That DDX is some kind of close liquid substitute for powdered Xtol. T'aint so. Don't accept false substitutes folks. DDX was half assed marketed as a response to Xtol so that was implied. Remember Rachel Carson. However it's just another Phenidone liquid like many like Hc110 or Tmax developer baloney. No vitamin C to fight for you making for cutting edge over the rainbow results. Stick with Xtol. Grows strong bodies twelve ways. Or Beutlers. Or become a Pyro maniac. PMK or ABC or LBJ on the IRC. Or some other non solvent high acutance developer worthy of Leica glass. FX1, Neofin blue, Pyrocatechin developers. (not Pyro) Or slightly not as ultra sharp Paterson FX 39, Acutol (fx14) PMK is in this category. Fx2 Formulary TFX-2 or FX-37 Which as shot down over Cuba but you can still get the stuff in Miami. All here read off The Film Developing cookbook.
