I haven't noticed a difference with using either Kodak's indicator stop bath or a regular water rinse. If I don't see any difference, why bother with an extra chemical? So I use water only. Haven't noticed any ill effects. That's my sole reason for going with water. With how I develop film, I don't see any benefit to using stop. Between developing and fixing, I rinse out my tank several times. At least 3. Swash it around. Gargle. Spit. Repeat. -- Eric http://canid.com/
