Subject: [Leica] Minilux Repairs

Was just boxing up my Minilux to send off to Leica US in NJ and thought it
best to call first and be sure everything was okay.

I am told that they no repair Minilux and that it will have to go to
Germany. They get a few of these and when they have enough - box them up and
send them over - can take several weeks. Then they wait for an estimate from
Germany and then contact me.
Seems it will take several months!

It has a "E01" error when turning on. I am told that it is a shutter issue.

Any alternatives?
