I ran into a similar issue with Acros a while back.  Not to quite that
extent, but enough to be bothersome.

When I ran a batch of Acros with new fix, the spots went away.  So I mix up
just enough fix fresh each time I develop, and then throw it away.  The
spots have gone away for me since doing this.
