Since the topic of selecting a digicam occasionally comes up here, and the lens does have "Leica" written on it, I thought I'd post some snaps I took today and some thoughts for those who might be interested: http://www.duke.edu/~ahh2/2005_10_18_LX1First/index.html The short version: I like it. It won't replace anybody's Ms or DSLRs, but it's a very nice small P&S. It's interesting using a camera with native 16:9 aspect...very different than shooting with 35mm...I guess this is something like what an SWC feels like... Best, Aaron
