Does anyone know whether a print developer is available that won't make dark 
spots on the vinyl floor of our darkroom after it dries? Dektol leaves its 
calling card about 24 hours after it lands. 

In general, Kodak et al haven't made darkroom work any cleaner over the 
years. For that matter, they haven't innovated chemical printing for about 
100 
years. Would you buy a 2005 Toyota if it had a Model T engine?
