Don I hate to be dense but I'm not certain what you'd suggest I
change? Did you want things somehow slid to toward the right edge of
the frame?

The way I thought about it was this: since only a tiny fraction of the
petal will be in focus, and since I had the gray background (it's the
road) I figured that I'd push the color also to the left so the
in-focus part was along the left-third boundary. Which puts virtually
all the color in the image on the left third.

That was how I composed it. I know I lack formal training and so I'm
VERY interesting in understand how to make the image better.
