Subject: [Leica] Waiting - Leicanon in Berlin/chronicle of a very long day

We were in Berlin for the day yesterday, my wife had to go into hospital
for a series of check-ups, so I
went along too, just to keep her company.

Little did I know -

this meant getting out of the hotel at 6.30 am (at least the breakfast
was excellent)

and then waiting -

for admission at 7.30, for doctors at 9, for coffee at 10, for lunch at
12, for the sun to come out,
for sparrows to sit still, for the S-Bahn, for dinner and for our train
home (takes about an hour and a half Berlin to Hannover at 250km/h, the
only fast thing all day)

Luckily, for me, the Leicanon went along too - here a few impressions of
taking pictures just to kill time.

http://gallery.leica-users.org/New-Old-Pictures/MG_2792_edited_3 At last!!

Believe it or not , today was even worse - just back from a Hannoverian
clinic after a Bursectomy ( a bloody big hole and 35 stitches in my left
elbow)
and probably in a sling for the next couple of weeks.
cheers from the "one armed man"
