Yes, the Elmar f4 brings up the 135 framelines on my M3, but, as you point out, the viewing area is small. Aside from that, the lens is a gem, well-balanced for the M3, easy to handle, ergonomically satisfying, to me, and produces excellent results. Ken -- The Rev.
