Canon, while newer, can not be that much more difficult. You can have AF and all the other goodies the same way..... reverse engineering. But then, that would not be the Leica way, they would need to redesign it ( forever) to be better...... Frank Filippone red735i@earthlink.net Well, if Leica could figure out a way to make Canon mount lenses that support auto diaphragm, they would be in business. Forget about autofocus and all the other stuff. I doubt that Canon will change something that basic every few years. Leica could also be smart (maybe) and design the lenses so they could be easily upgraded, if Canon decided to screw everyone. feli >
