It's a fast road from Barcelona to Perpignan. When you're driving in
Perpignan look for signs for the tourist office, it's very close to the
Castillet.

This sounds like a perfect plan. Yes, I will have no trouble making it
from Barcelona--I get up early, and the distance is only 190 km = 1.5
hours drive.
