"I never roll all the film back into the cassette because it's faster working in the darkroom if you leave a bit sticking out on re-wind." Well OK I thought next roll out and I'll do it, anything to speed things up! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Die!!!!!!!!!!!! Next roll tail left out and put in pocket, simple enough. However, in a rush and no thought that I'd just put it in with a number of unexposed rolls I reached back into the same pocket..........Wait for it! :-) You already know what's coming! :-( I unkowingly re-loaded the same roll I'd just unloaded! :-( It wasn't until I got back to the paper to soup film, you remember souping film don't you? ;-) When I realized what I'd done with all it's horror. However, I thought maybe the good fairy saved my exposed roll and it was still in my pocket and I'd actually taken an unexposed roll when I re-loaded. Please!. Film souped and the Fairy God Mother did what she had to do..."TEACH ME A LESSON!" :-( Yep it was double exposed and not a frame to be saved. Well heck it wasn't too bad it was just pictures of the Prime Minister with a visiting dignitary from another country! Oh well! :-( However, from that moment on to this day every roll has been cranked right into the canister despite any potential time saving factor. So Montie be assured you were not alone on the day of your disaster, :-) as I bet there's more than the two of us on the list who've done the same thing . :-) ted
