I've had a M3 and now have a M6TTL and a recently purchased M4-P. The M3 was nice, but the take up spool and small shutter dial were the pits, so I traded it in on a R version 560 Telyt. Best Leica trade/purchase I ever made. The M4-p is better than the M3 in all but the small shutter dial as it also is hampered by this feature. The M6TTL is by far my favorite of the 3. It has the improved shutter dial - Larger size and also the correct rotation to work more logically with the meter, and of course the meter and the TTL flash function which I do use occationally. I've had Zero problems with the M6TTL and use it every chance I get, and it goes with me everywhere, except into work where cameras are banned. So my vote is for the M6TTL or the M7, even though they are a bit more money. Gene
