There is a logic if it sells enough and Leica can earn some money with it. 
But probably, it won't sell well. It's a pure collector's thing.

For me, it's once again documenting that the Leica is not going ahead, but 
round in circles. Recycling and re-recycling their rangefinder knowhow with 
not more than maybe one homeopathicly applicated improvement a decade.

And it's not a french luxury bag producer with it's doubtable business plan 
that will awake this sleeping beauty. Only new strategies and new products, 
for instance like a well made digital M,  or R-lenses with Canon and Nikon 
DSLR mount, might change things. Else it's just playing in the sandbox.
