This was one of those situation where I new exactly how I was going to adjust the shots. I'd discussed the shoot with the band and we'd all agreed that the results would be in b&w - or as they described it "dirty bad assed rock 'n' roll" :-) Steve -----Original Message----- From: lug-bounces+mail=steveunsworth.co.uk@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+mail=steveunsworth.co.uk@leica-users.org] On Behalf Of Luis Ripoll Sent: 12 June 2005 21:56 To: Leica Users Group Subject: RE: [Leica] So there I was sat in a bar when the rock group cameoverfor a chat... A group of four came up to me in the pub and asked if I was a photographer. I have some photographs on the walls that I did for the landlord which is why they probably thought I was one. They were looking for someone to take a few snaps for their website and I agreed. Some of the results are here... http://gallery.leica-users.org/Attica The funny thing was the way they adopted their 'poses' as soon as the camera went to my eye. I now realise how useful a whip and a lion tamer's chair would have been to keep them under control :-) Praise, brickbats, votes all welcome. The band are called Attica by the way and play jolly loudly! Camera was a Canon 20D with various Canon lenses. I used the Fred Miranda plugin to convert to b&w with a blue filter to darken the skin tones and the brick background. Steve
