[Author Prev] [Author Next] [Thread Prev] [Thread Next] [Author Index] [Topic Index] [Home] [Search]okay, i think every photo i take is the best i've taken in a while. but this one seems to stand out a bit more. lately i've seen, i think, my work start to cohese together in a not un-pleasing way (rather than how it used to cohese together as mediocre). http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=3442148 this is a local alt.model who wanted to work on her portfolio. i wasn't terribly enthused at the time (it being late in the day and i having just got what looked to be a promising horror flick from the video store). but once i got off the couch, bit by bit, everything came together in my head and i knew pretty much exactly what i wanted. so we went to wardrobe, picked out the right dress, and did the whole thing in about 40 images, which is a very low number for me. we both went away happy. so my advice for you today: get up off the sofa and take a photo that never would have existed if you'd kept your ass on it today. make it a good photo. work hard at it until you have it right. then treasure today forever. then drink some burbon to celebrate. thanks for looking. kc
