Some say the Petri Color 35 is even better (same size more features). But the lack of a rangefinder is the reason why I never bought one of those babies... :-( I have used a 28mm lens on a Bessa L with scale focusing - not that easy like with the 15mm. But scale focusing with a 40mm? Forget apertures below 8 if you're not shooting at infinity. If there's another rangefinder-coupled, compact, aperture-priority camera that I would love to own, then it's the predecessor of the Voigtlander 101, the Zeiss Ikon S 312 (see http://tinyurl.com/ay66y ) with the Tessar 2.8/40. Has 1/4th to 1/500th, EV 1-18, ISO 25-400. Unfortunately it's rare and rather expensive (have seen some going for $250+ on the auction site). Not to be confounded with the S310 which is not rf coupled (just three distance symbols). The 310 was mass-produced and sells now for a 1/10th of the S312. Didier >...
