First of all, I did not have much money and no one around me to guide me with regard to photography and/or the selection of a good camera. So, I read magazines and thought about what to get and finally decided on an Argus C3. I was very proud of my camera. It felt good in the hands and the little meter on top worked fairly accurately and the rangefinder concept and focus worked well. Was the lens sharp and great as the choices we have today? No way, but I took a lot of pictures with that camera and still have the slides (Kodachrome) and fond memories (and my Argus C3 on the shelf). Jim Christie
