Great, George!  I do woodworking, with hand tools, and over the years
I've collected a fair number of wonderful German and British planes, all
users.  As you point out, there is, IMO, no substitute for the "feel" of
the hand tool, for the smoothness of cut of a properly sharpened and set
plane iron.

Just like my M's and my F2....just love 'em...
