Subject: [Leica] Night heron, revisited

You may remember that last weekend I posted a version of this image -
but the more I looked at the RAW file the  more I felt there was a
better picture there.

There were actually two of these which we took to be a pair - but
males are females, I'm told, are marked by the male's "eye brow"
feathers but they are only raised as a part of a courting ritual. This
guy is hunting.

Printed on radiant white water color paper from Epson the image looks
really nice. I think this is close but not nearly what's in the print.
