Thank you Adam, for your comment. I assume you've been down Movie Road and
all that but IMO one really has to hike into the hills for the more exciting
views. Some of these images are from the immediate vicinity of the arch that
one sees framing so many shots of Mt. Whitney. Unfortunately the ladder at
the arch had been removed, leaving me about 4 feet short, so I made the best
of it.
I like staying at the Best Western or the BLM campground at Tuttle Creek.
