Thank you, Peter. The surgery was a success this time. The dunes at Mesquite
Flat are quite spectacular at first light. I like to pick out a spot the
preceding afternoon, visualizing what the light will be the next morning. Of
course half the time at least two other photographers will want to be at the
same spot before sunrise, too.
