good question, actually -- i was at walgreens the other day and they sell a 
walgreens-branded black and white pt and shoot camera with c-41 film in it. 
Made in China.   Did they use some of the kodak? Did they make their own?

hey, i dunno -- balance of payments is all to hell, but the film is there.
