I've just dug out my copy of Europeans, and in HCB's photo I see people having a picnic, some water and a boat seen from above. In Geebee's photo I see some people resting, some water and a boat seen from above. I wasn't saying that Graham's photo was better, I merely said it was an update - and I have to say my tongue was in my check when I said it. A "street photo" is far more than a snapshot taken in public, or a well composed photo of fat people eating too much, or people looking in two different directions; 2. Steve - Have you looked recently at HCB's "rather famous shot?" -----Original Message----- From: lug-bounces+bdcolen=earthlink.net@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+bdcolen=earthlink.net@leica-users.org] On Behalf Of Matt Morgan Sent: Saturday, February 26, 2005 5:25 AM To: Leica Users Group Subject: Re: [Leica] GeeBee's 'Street' photography On 26/02/2005, at 17:45, Steve Unsworth wrote: > http://www.geebeephoto.com/html/o11.html is an English update of a > rather famous HCB shot :-) Very much a 'ello sailor shot to me:-) New meaning to the word 'cruisin'!'
