Kodak owns 20% of Lucky film. It is a HUGE profit for Kodak and probably
will help keep the Kodak B&W films such as Tri-X alive for a long time to
come.

Even though I use and like Efke films, my favorites over Efke, is Agfa
APX-100, Tri-X, and Plus-X. My overall most used film is Velvia. So as long
as one of, Agfa, Kodak, and Ilford (FP4), continue to make B&W emulsions, I
really don't care that much about Efke films. The exception being, I like
Efke 25, which is very close to APX-25 and KB14, neither of which is
available now.

There are several small B&W film makers around. The Adox name is coming
back as well. That was my favorite film during the 50's and 60's - Adox
KB14/R14 and KB21/R21, along with 4x5 Super-XX and Tri-X.

Thanks to Lucky for helping to float Kodak's film boat. It cost Kodak
$100mil, but the dividends and technology licensing return is immense.
