Yes it does, no arguments, except that the dormant ability you spoke of does 
get reinforced to a large extent by training and experience. After that you 
dont think, you act, and that is subconcious, instinct, call it what you 
will, working. I really dont understand why people, in general, dont trust 
their instinct, more.....after all it is the sum total of their knowledge at 
work at a subconcious level...
