I am a LUG Lurker and owner of two Morgans a 1962 Plus 4 four seater (TR4 engine and Moss box) and a 1967 4/4 Series V Competition (Ford Cortina GT 1500 engine and box). They both get along well with my M2 and Rolleiflex 3.5F Steve Bauserman -----Original Message----- From: John Collier [mailto:jbcollier@shaw.ca] Sent: Saturday, February 19, 2005 9:35 AM To: Leica Users Group Subject: Re: [Leica] Morgans No, it is not a cult object. Rather the distillation of an idea into pure form. The fact that the basic design is very old -- suspension patented in the teens -- is not the point. It how it all works together to deliver a driving experience that few other cars, past or present ever delivered. Sure they are "pretty" but take one for a drive, preferably an early one, and then you will know what I am talking about. My personal favorites are early Moss box equipped Plus 8s and Triumph powered Plus 4s. John Collier http://www.morgan-motor.co.uk/ On 18-Feb-05, at 11:01 PM, A.
