Leica Camera does not innovate very much. Mostly they manufacture and sell
minor variations on the same old stuff. It happens to be great stuff, worth
having and using, but since it hardly ever changes, there's not much point
in incessantly talking about it. Nearly everything that can be said about
(for example) a Summilux 50/1.2 has already been said.

We're talking about things that are new and different, which is the norm in
conversation. And since they are new and different, they usually aren't from
Leica.
