Hi David, When I picked-up the 20D I was told there was a new super-wide zoom lens and would I like to have a look? Looked through viewfinder, zoomed it --- bought it! :-) And not one penny of regret. Because with the Leica's, M & R, I have the 15mm lenses and I do a fair amount of shooting in that width. The 10-22 is, I think, 16mm-35mm film size, so it fits right into how I see my pictures in many cases. It's an excellent lens, cuts very well and I've not had any miscues with it for auto-focus or auto-exposures. I suppose the simple answer is... I'm very pleased with it. Thank you for the tips most helpful. Now I have to learn them. However and more important ..... "I have to remember them! ;-) thanks, ted
