To my view, what sounds best is:

   Photographe ind?pendant
      banques d'images

The other way:

   Photographe ind?pendant
       phototh?ques

is perhaps not quite as good, as mentioning "phototh?ques" looks more
static whereas "banque d'images" would be more easily understood as
somebody who is making them, rather than just owning a very large
collection of images. "phototh?que" might be understood as slightly more
artistic and "banque d'images" more technical. Well, this is just my own
feeling.

Anyway, note the two occurrences of the letter "h" in "Phototh?ques".
