Gee Mark, some people just don't get no respect.....

Personally, I think the idea deserves no respect. An F2 lens would be
lighter and smaller than an F1.4 design, but should not be substantially
different from a 90mm lens of the same F2. So why bother? The 90 AA is a
spectacular lens. Compared to anything else available when it was
introduced ( the 75, or any 90 of its predecessors) it is a different lens
by weight, size, or performance.

Positively stated, What special feature makes it a worthwhile proposition
to offer both a 90 F2 and a 75 F2? Ditto for me to buy one?

I've brought it up like three times people ignore the thread in droves.
Goes over like a lead balloon.
