A polarizer is a useful thing, but considering the price for the Leica 
flip-out version, it makes me think about the known limits of the RF 
photography. I come to the same conclusion as with the Visoflex and 
macrophotography: why not using an SLR for that?

To come back to your question - I don't see a reason why it should not work 
on a R-D1.
