The first two and a half months were waiting for a repair. The last two
and a half have been waiting for a replacement. Every time I ask the
dealer to check, Leica says I am "next" on the list and it is just
"weeks away". There has been at least one batch of 50 Asphs produced
during all this so I am not pleased. I don't care when it is coming, I
just want to know when that will be. How Leica cannot know, or feel
they are further ahead by lying, I do not know.
As to getting a refund, I have a hard time punishing my excellent
dealer for the inexplicable actions of Leica. I am, however, wavering
on that point.
