Yes, I agree.  Blow only if you know where the dust will go.

Careful controlled cleanup is the way to go.

Chris, I would be very careful in using your Dust Gun on any Leica. I
tried  
to remove spots on an SLR camera screen and loosened dust elsewhere in
the  
camera and it all accumulated on the screen & I had to have it all
removed  in a 
repair shop. regards, bob cole
