Subject: [Leica] A slightly different New Year's image

Happy New Year, everybody!
http://users.2alpha.com/~pklein/NewYearsEve05/PC310487.htm

Olympus E-1, 14-54, 1/3 sec @ f/3.2, 70mm equivalent, shot RAW.

If you want to see the rest of the bunch, basically happy snaps of family
and friends, look here:

I used the Olympus E-1, as getting the pictures distributed to all involved
is easiest with digital. I was going to use flash, but the light was good
enough that I just never got around to it. So I ended up using the E-1 as
I would a Leica, fast candid shooting in available room light. The E-1
almost never looks as sharp as the Leica and good 400 ISO film, but the
colors are just *so* nice.

The shots ending with numbers #492 - 510 are with the 50/1.8 Zuiko at f/2.5
or 2.8. The rest are with the 14-54/2.8-3.5. Light level in the apartment
was 1/50 to 1/30 at f/2.8-3.5.
