"Oh Big Mi Shagas," I implored, how can 2922000 and 3030500 be joined for superior images?" Mi Shagas replied through mysterious tracings in the bottom of my hot cocoa. "It is not for photography, but for summoning the spirits of perfect unity in a shelf display. Shmuck, if you want pictures, get a beater M6 and go hit the streets." Short of an exact match, only two possibilites among hundreds off thousands are better: 3935000, and 3933000. Of course, if you allow other numbers for the MP, then there are more desirable choices. Am I the only one who thinks that Leica's main woes come from their inability (dare I say ignorance ?) to use proper numbers for their special editions ? Not to mention their atrocious choices of issue dates ! They should be on full moons, or at the very least avoid the 5th, the 17th and the 23rd days of the month (lunar, of course) !!!! :-) Cheers, - Phong who is very slowly waking up among the undead.
