Yes Pulling is where you expose the negative to more light but use usual 
development times but this only relates to 400 CN (c41 chemistry) a previous 
thread (ages ago). Pulling *was* useful years ago when film emulsion was not 
so good. I would probably not pull HP5, FP4 (its 125) or other dedicated B&W 
silver halide films, not point really. It was just a thing I had notice 
after experimenting with that typ of film (XP2 Super).
