I'm currently working in Rugby here in the UK during the week and a group of musicians get together every Monday for an informal session in a pub near to where I'm staying. This was taken with my Canon 300D digital SLR. Last weekend, after a large glass of Cotes de Rhone, I upgraded the firmware with the Russian 'hacked' version. This allows shooting at ISO 3200, which is what I used for this. After running the file through Neat Image the results are quite a bit better than I expected. Conversion to b&w was with Fred Miranda's plug-in. The lens was a Canon 50mm f1.8. I wish I'd had something wider with me as I'd prefer the shot with a bit more of the mandolin player on the right.
