Hi Greg,
hell yer right buddy! ;-) A 280 2.8 on an R is starting to get heavy! :-) 
After that they're merely muscle builders!:-)

But a 90 on an "M" heavy?  It's a cream puff lens for weight and size! :-) 
And cuts like an extremely   sharp razor blade. :-) Heck there are no heavy 
M lenses! :-)
