Which was wonderfully parodied in one of the "Mad Max" films, the one
with Tina Turner as the baddy (baddess?)
Hard to believe that Mel Gibson could stash so much hardware about his
person.

There was an article about someone in the UK offering cell phone killers
for restaurants, theatres and museums
in the paper here a couple of days ago, I'd look it up but the recyclers
came this morning at 7. In the same paper
was an American invention too, a remote switcheroffer for all makes of
TV set, long range and very effective, the bloke
who made it had been trying it out in shops. It took ages before anyone
noticed that the background noise had gone.
