Consistently Not that well liked here on the lug if you check the archives.
Some like it. I think more don't.
I don't.
Mine was a disaster. I went into deep Leica denial.
I assumed you knew this or you would have mentioned it before as you were
talking light weight.

The Cosina teles are there most contested of their lenses here on the LUG.
Me I'd just bring along a Nikon body with an 85 on it or a 105 or a zoom
than use a Cosina tele.

I do use a Cosina lens on my Nikon. The 45mm pancake.
With the d100 it's a 67.5.
Sweet!

A lens cap which takes pictures!

I think Cosina is probably well capable of leaving Nikon in the dust in the
glass department but no so with the teles perhaps.

By the way did I tell you guys I just got a 55-200 DC lens for my Nikon
D100.
A sigma.
My first third party lens.
It has such a nice finish that it makes the camera look crummy.
This could be viewed as a disadvantage.
Its build is light but it's price is weightless.
So you don't set your expectations sky high yet it might meet those anyway.
And if you smash it it's not the end of the world it's the price of a Leica
lens cap.
And Nikon doesn't make a short zoom tele for digital. They all go from wide
to tele.
No way I'm bring a wide lens with its short lens shade on my backdrop.
