I think because deep down inside, we know that no matter how many times we 
click that shutter, we will never become as good a photographer as (insert 
name here).

That plus I think almost all of us (except the great ones like Uncle Ted, 
Auntie Tina, etc.) got some tongue lashing once or twice for posting 
medicore pictures.
