Carl Zeiss infringed on several of Nikon's patents for seminconductor 
lithography. Oops.  They're paying out $87million dollars in 
restitution.

Maybe Nikon will come up with a full-frame rival to the 1Ds Mk II after all!

p.s. I didn't know that Nikon was a subsidiary of the Mitsubishi 
group. Interesting.
