BD Colon asked:

"Just out of curiosity, what made the area around San Quirico d'Orcia and
Pienza particularly suited for photography with Leica lenses...?"

BD, I assume that all subjects are perfect for photographing with Leica
lenses. However, since even Michelangelo thought Tuscany was given special
beauty from God, I assume God would use Leica lenses if he was out
photographing today. Why not? But I confess, I did use a Canon lens on my
Canon digital camera too.

For me it most natural that I would use Leica lenses since those are the
ones I brought with me.

If this answer sounds stupid, look at the question (but not the questioner)
again. (Insert here smiley face winking.)
