[Leica] Healing Fields

Last Saturday a series of rememberences called "Healing Fields" were
held all over the United States.

One of these was in Vacaville's downtown park where a flag for each of
those killed was labeled and became a part of a vast sea of flags. On
Saturday morning, 9/11, a group of citizens read the names of those
who died. Some were from nearby Travis Air Force Base, others simply
those who wished to remember.

There was no bombast, no martial music, no fighting words. Just names
and, sometimes, personal rememberences of those now dead.

Breezes would rise, lifting the banners, then having passed the flags
would settle, only to rise again with another zephyr and another until
sometimes the whole field was shimmering as if lost souls were seeking
to climb upwards to heaven.
