Subject: [Leica] PAW 36 dlridings

It seems my PAW is getting somewhat out of hand and I end up posting
something from the last roll I took during the week instead of my favorite
shot from the week. I guess I prefer things that are most recent. I've
noticed a couple of other PAW:er have gone over to just posting when they
take a shot and are happy with it. I might do that next year. I need a
project ... I need a phone call ...

Anyway, yesterday was Lindome day with fun and games for all. Among other
things, a long distance race for all ages:

I've put up a Rollei shot too, from a walk earlier:

The main is my attempt to make friends with 400TX (still). It has nothing
to do with the film, actually, but with my particular set-up. There's a
theory that the grain pattern just happens to not get along with my
particular scanner (that's the theory, not mine). So I've switched
developers to muck with the grain a bit. HC-110 gives a different grain
pattern than Xtol and it seems that it gets along better with my scanner
(Minolta Dim?ge Dual II). I picked it up two years ago as a crutch when
lightning zapped out everything in the house. I guess it's about time to
leave the crutch and get a decent one ... particularly if I'm going to
start printing in a digital setup instead of wet darkroom. That's still an
"if", but it's leaning that way.

Burn me, look and go hohum or whatever. At any rate, thanks for you time.

Daniel
