Nobody, really.  Ralph Waldo Emerson said, "A foolish consistency is
the hobgoblin of little minds", which isn't quite the same thing.  I
suspect that if one really wanted to, one could devote nearly as much
discussion to what makes a consistency foolish as to what makes a
militia well-regulated...  :-)
