I would like to add the finder is a 1.0x design, as opposed to the 0.6x of
the Bessa R2.

The eyepiece design R-D1 is a circular one (the Bessa R2 has a rectangular
design) and appears to accept diopters from the Nikon FM2/3 cameras.
